Chan Chan es una marca venezolana de trajes de baño que nace en el 2008, sin embargo su primera colección es lanzada en el 2009 a través del evento Moda con un Propósito, evento de caridad para el hospital de niños en Maracaibo.

La idea surge de 3 mujeres emprendedoras: Elizabeth Montiel, Andrea Gómez y Joana Rodriguez; y va dirigida a la mujer práctica, segura de si misma y que quiere ser referencia obligada en cuanto a tendencias y estilo. Su colección 2014 Frida fue inspirada en la vida y obra de la artista mexicana con el mismo nombre (Frida Kahlo).

Chan Chan is a Venezuelan swimwear brand born in 2008, however their first collection its launched in 2009 during the Fashion with a Purpose charity event for Maracaibo's children hospital.

The idea came from three enterprising women: Elizabeth Montiel, Andrea Gomez and Joana Rodriguez; and it is directed to the practical woman, sure of herself and wants to be reference in terms of trends and style. The 2014 collection "Frida" was inspired by the life and work of Mexican artist with the same name (Frida Kahlo).

Adicional a la línea de trajes de baño para muejeres, Chan Chan posee una línea de trajes de baño para niñas y hombres, una línea de ropa casual, bolsos de playa y accesorios.

Ahora les dejamos unos datos curiosos sobre Chan Chan:

1. Sus creadoras son dos mujeres licenciadas en derecho y una diseñadora de moda.

2. Todos los trajes de baños son reversibles.

3. Chan Chan significa Pompi (Trasero) en papiamento.

4. La colección 2015 será lanzada en el tercer trimestre de este año 2014.

In addition to the women's swimwear brand, Chan Chan also have a line of swimwear for men and kids, a casual clothing line, beach bags and accessories.

1. The creators are three women, two of them graduated in law school and one fashion designer.

2. All swimsuits are reversible.
